For some, this is going to be a sad goodbye to our age old Dance Dance Revolution Tournament but an exciting and thrilling welcome to our new Dance Central Tournament! Our oh so familiar directors, Sami and Scott, will be kind of going our seperate ways this year also. The beloved Sami will be hosting our HALO tournament this year (how odd is that right?!) and I - Scott - will be directing the Dance Central tournament. Not only that folks... but the tournament is going to be held in the auditorium where we'll have more than enough space to work with!

Okay, so enough with the hype right? You all probably want to know what the rules are and how it's going to done. So let's get straight to the point. Dance Central is pretty straight forward. No silly mods or being worried if your opponent is going to use "solo" arrows (for my DDR lovers out there). Thus the rules are straight forward and simple as well.

I was hoping that this tourny would get some more attention by dance competitors but I will admit that I was nervous about it being that it's a new game introduced to our tournaments. I did get a lot of positive responses on forums about the event but most of them were informed too late to make arrangements to travel to the event. However, I feel that once a good deal of the community is aware of the additional tournament they will be ready to participate next year. :)
