We would like to thank our sponsors: Plantronics, Alienware, BenQ, Red Storm Entertainment, Ubisoft, and Epic Games without their support this event would not have been possible. In addition we would like to thank the East Coast Game Conference for donating the space, Internet, and power required to pull off this great fund raiser. We would also like to thank the Wake Tech Game Development Club members who invited us to join in this amazing opportunity to raise money for a great charity. For the second year in a row they held a raffle at the Child's Play booth, which raised the majority of the funds.

About Child’s Play
In 2003 Child’s Play was organized, which is a game industry charity dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing toys and games in the charity’s network of over 70 hospitals worldwide. Over the years, you as a community have answered the call and come together to raise millions of dollars.
The term “record-setting” doesn't do the final total justice, nor does incredible, amazing, generous, or overwhelming. In 2012, Child’s Play Charity raised over 5 million dollars for children across the globe.
With events and a record number of community-run fundraisers, Child’s Play as a group are able to raise an astonishing amount to benefit kids in hospitals, clinics, and domestic violence shelters worldwide. Each of these events requires thousands of volunteers, organizers, and participants, each working long hours, weekend after weekend, to ensure everything is in working order.
