I know right? I mean, isn't Kinect Dance Central 2 a little TOO new? C'mon now, Dance Dance Revolution was much better anyway! Not a lot of people can ACTUALLY dance (no offense) That was the beauty of Dance Dance Revolution! You'd hit certain arrows with your feet! In KDC2, you're involving your whole body. (Not to mention DDR didn't require the stage...) I not only feel bad for us RB people, but I feel bad for the DDR people as well :(

Oh I understand, I've made a fool of myself playing DC at my sister's house on several occasions. Not interested in that or any of the other tournaments.
And I just realize I didn't take into account on my previous comment all the people who tag along with each band member for support or to watch. I had my sister with me last year (extra $10 for them, some folks had several people accompanying them) so that adds more money being pulled into the RB tournament.
I understand their interest in trying new things/games but I don't see why they have to bump some of the more popular games (I always saw a big crowd with the DDR game/tournament too). Seems the number of tournaments has significantly decreased since I started going in '09.

Last year there were more tournaments. How come we couldn't have rockband in one of the left over rooms... D:

I remember the first year we attended (2009) there were tournaments for both Rock Band and Guitar Hero, along with lots of other games.
And it may be just me, but I think they may have some technical problems running Dance Central 2 in the auditorium. The dancers are going to have to be directly in front of the Kinect/TV, which means they won't be clearly visible if they're facing frontwards on the stage. Plus I have a feeling if they do the projection on the screen that's going to piss off the Kinect sensor. I hope it works out for them one way or another though.

Well, I guess I'm participating in the SSBB tournament again just like 2010 and 2009... My beloved RB touranament, maybe next year...

Ohhh I get it now. They replaced RB for KDC2 because Harmonix is sponsering it. So they're making money off of it. Darn you Harmonix... Not sponsering something as AWESOME as RB... Shame shame.

well, that's at least $30 they have lost this year because I was gonna bring some friends out to the summit, but no RB means none of us are going...
