Just want to let you guys in on a few secrets before they are announced later tonight or tomorrow.
First the bad news, while I am working very hard I am not 100% sure I will get tournament registration online tonight. The bug with people paying with paypal and then not being forwarded back to our website so their accounts can be upgraded has taken away from my tournament registration coding.
The good news. I do want you to know what to expect so here is a preview list of tournaments. Let me know what you think. We are still confirming the next gen PC titles that will be featured this year. But they will be run by the same group that ran them last year!

We just locked in a new group to host the Quake 3 tournament so I am still waiting to hear just how they want to run things.

Well honestly if the pickup tournaments are going to be run the same way they were last year, I'll probably end up doing pickup tournaments all day instead of anything else.
I prefer 1on1 but I totally understand time constraints and other issues and it's not really fair for me to go pushing 1on1 for Q3 when I may not even play it. I haven't played Quake 3 since Games Expo 07' and probably wouldn't enter any kind of Q3 tourney unless it didn't interfere at all with the pickup tournaments that I had much better luck in last year. |

What do you think of UT2004?
I have to see if those older PCs can run it but if they can we could substitute that for Q3.
The pickup tournament people are coming back in full force this year. I am just going to try and let everyone know what they are planning to do beforehand.
I hope they will run one or two pre-registered tournaments. Then do pickups all day as well.

I love when people pre-register. Also I removed Super SF II and added Hyper. We will have a Super SFII arcade downstairs for people to do pickup tournaments if they want. It will be set to freeplay.

Also I did enjoy the pickup pc tournaments though.
I played in the 4v4 h2 for fun with a couple of ppl but got knocked out of the 3rd round
If we are going to have a bunch of the FFA FPS pickup tournament, I just might play in all of those. I missed the UT2k4 sign ups but came in 2nd for the HL2:DM. I really enjoyed myself last year. |

Please, please, don't make UT3 and Quake FFA like last year's was. I came in 1st and 2nd in UT2k4 and Quake 4, but I'd rather be knocked out in the first round of a bracket than sit through another FFA round.
I guess HL2 FFA is fine, because it was made to be a FFA game though. |

Please keep SSBM 1 vs 1. It takes longer but it's way more fairer. Um..... no other comments.

here is it what we have so far.
Confirmed America's Army tournament ran by the Army on PCs
StarCraft Broodwars as always
Quake III Arena (not sure about 2v2 or 1v1 yet)
next gen titles will include COD4 and Unreal III the only problem is I'm having a hard time getting more than just pickup tournaments out of the next gen people.
I will have all this worked out within 7 days!
