Hi, me and my brother are planning on being in the quake 3 2v2 tournament, but i was wondering if we could bring our own MX518's to use in the tourney. And also, how about our own config files? Like if we were to put them on a flash drive or something. |

That's what me and my teammate did last year, we brought our mx518 (and G5) there. The config files were a problem, however, as the version of quake they were using wasn't compatible with the one we used regularly. Also, they used VQ3, rather than the contemporary CPMA. So the config files were rather useless :D
but it's much safer to bring an autoexec.cfg file and excecute it during warmup. |

ahh thats cool. i was more concerned about the mouse than the config anyhow. i can throw in a few cmds to get my config fit for playing, but i had to mess around and get the mouse settings just right on that dell mouse last year, never did feel just right. But me and my buddy still got 3rd, even tho it was only his second time playing lol. This year.. me and my bro are gonna enter, and we are pretty much the same skill level, so it should be interesting.
Will you be entering it this year as well xtruder? |

yep, gonna be there as well.
I was actually gonna focus more on the UT3 tournament this year, but now that that's gone, I'll be spending most of my time in the L3 tourneys room :D
looking forward to some ggs with whoever goes. |

You are indeed welcome to bring keyboard/mouse/headphones/mousepad if you wish. Just don't leave it in the room! Someone might walk off with it, LIKE ME!
