On the whole about the people and no deodorant, yes it smelled bad in places. But as some people said before not many kids are going to wear deodorant. And all the people just standing in one place got it smelling pretty bad! Upstairs there is nothing we can do about the limit of people due to all of the free play going on. But I myself tried everything I could to help people move around better in some places.

As the director for DDR I had every DDR Disk for the PS2. The only new versions of DDR out is the Disney Disk and personally I don't see many people wanting to dance it out with Goofy and Mickey, but I could be wrong. The pads used for the tournament were not the ones that were gave away. And a lot of people who only play at home will get lost on them. But they are regulation standard arcade pads. They are the same shape and size of a Arcade Machine pad, so for those who don't get time to learn or play on an arcade machine then yes it is very foriegn, but you try and play Drop Out or Frozen Ray on a soft pad on heavy and see if by the end you are not 90 degrees off on the pad. The ones we use have button covers on the X,O,Triange, Square buttons that are raised up above the arrow buttons just like in the arcade and they don't break down in the middle of a tournament like a soft one will. All in all it was a good tournament.

As for limiting the amount of people who could play in tournaments there was already a set limit on that decided on weeks in advance. We tried as hard as we could to make sure that tournaments could go as fast as they could. But yes they all had limits on sign up.

Hope you guys had a fun day at the Summit

I hadn't noticed the other pads you had there, but I think I remember someone mentioning the ones given away weren't used in the tournament.

And, man, half the talent in using the crappy pads is being able to turn with them! ^.~

Yeah I know what you mean but I could so see someone taking out a few chairs, desk, and people >.< I just don't know how people expect me to make DDR newer??? It's a very static game....Next year I want to see if I can't talk to some people I know who can freestyle to come out and put on a show for everyone. Just for the fun of it. Maybe that will be fresh enough for everyone. But as for the pads, at least the Flux pads don't break in the middle of a match. By the way did you compete this year? I really would like to hear from the people who competed to tell me what they thought.

Sounds pretty awesome. I never did get to go in the DDR room except for the night before the event to help setup.

I have just heard that everything went incredibly well and I think you should just keep doing what you're doing!
