I'm sure most people by now have at least heard of L4D. :) I'd like to see what kind of interest we have in setting up a tournament via the L4D VS mode.
We would have to restrict it to only the final level of one of the two campains to make the time constrictions. Let's say No Mercy for all matches up to the semi finals. Then Blood Harvest for the Semi's and the finals.
Each team get's a shot at survivors and infected.
No game glitches can be used. (Infinite Pipe/Molotoves, Mouted MG glitch)
No bypassing horde event's that were intended for the survivors to fight off. (No Mercy roof jump, No Mercy 3 elevator, Climbing pipes as a survivor, etc etc.)
No creating impassable blocks as infected. (Cars blocking the only exit, manhole, etc etc)
How many people would be interested in making teams for this? How many would sign up for random teams?
Any thoughts? |

Also PC or 360 version?
Added rule: No hiding in spawn while Chopper is coming in No Mercy. It's not how the game was ment to be played, so don't do it. |

I love Left 4 Dead. I really like playing on expert, its so much fun. still camping in spawn? what do you mean? and still I would love to be in a L4D tournament. |

In no mercy you can have one guy hit the radio, while the other 3 never jump off the roof. They go back down to the spawn and wait. 4th guy is screwed but hey at least 3 can survive. Humans can just hide in the spawn and mow down everything from safety. Human tanks cannot climb up, so they lose control. It goes to an AI tank which is retarded. Really lame way to play. |

as much as left 4 dead is a great game and all, but i seriously don't think it can be a competitive multiplayer game since the infected can hide, and possibly even camp. |
