Will be short since I'm tired. But as my 3rd and final CGS... I really really enjoyed my time there. The tournaments went well, COD4 was a bit slow but it all reflects how the individual tournament directors run their show. Some did well. Big props to Logan for helping with the UT3/Q3 tournament. It was great to see Penny Dreadful there as well as the 501st. They go hand in hand with the gaming world and I'm always happy to see many characters I've come to know and love(and new ones :)
I wish BAWLS had been there this year, I had brought some of my own and EVERYONE was giving me the look of ravenous hunger. I started to worry for my safety. :P
The awards ceremony was fantastic. Some comments to come later on though. Please turn the volume down a bit next time. It was too loud. More prizes would be nice, I know that's on the sponsors but we can hope for next year. I don't blame them for having less this year... it is pretty lean for everyone these days.
Finally thanks to Mike, Tracy, and the rest of the staff. You all put on one hell of a show, and I cannot thank you enough. Please keep working hard at it, as everyone that comes gets a great day of fun for only $10. Well done. |

yea it was awesome, but I could do with some more free play rooms, there were only 2 this time! Of course, BAWLS would have been appreciated. Everything was great though, good job! |

I basically have the same thoughts as D does. Graet awards ceremony, but TOO LOUD. I felt sorry for the band that played at the end. I wanted to stay to listen to them, but I didn't want permanent damage done to my ears so I walked out on them. |
