After looking at the list for 09's lineup (18 tournaments total), here are some suggestions I have for the game lineup for CGS 2010:
3D Fighters:
Tekken 6, Street Fighter 4, and Virtua Fighter 5
Soul Caliber 4 replaced VF5 in 09, so it is time to return the favor (Besides, VF5 is a better game).
2D Fighters:
Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Blazblue, Guilty Gear X2 Accent Core Plus
Tatsunuko vs. Capcom would be nice, but I don't think the game comes out in time for the tournament (I believe Gamestop has it listed for late January 2010).
The commitee could decide between adding Marvel vs. Capcom 2 or Capcom vs. SNK 2.
Shooters:
Halo 3 ODST (Free For All and 4v4), Gears of War 2 (4v4), and Modern Warfare 2
PC Games:
Warcraft III, Starcraft, and Unreal Tournament III (or whatever the newest versions of these games are)
Music Games:
Dance Dance Revolution (current version), Guitar Hero 5, Rock Band 2
DJ Hero would be nice, but I would say that it is optional.
Other:
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (of course), Madden 2010
I would strongly suggest another sports game because all they have every year is just Madden. How bout we throw in NBA 2K10? That way you at least have football and basketball.

Needs more PC shooters. Warcraft III, Starcraft Are fine if you like out dated Strategy based and Unreal Tournament III is garbage no offence.
If the Events for PC were BYOC, Yes there would be some expected problems but nothing more than a simple connection problem to the central server. Any technical problems would be left up to the PC owners to fix, But where are The Games Like Counter Strike, and Counter Strike Source or Call Of Duty Modern Warfare or even Modern Warfare 2, These PC Games would be Essential I think, Unless ofcourse CGS is going Console exclusive in which case I would Understand.

I believe the major problem in the past for PC games has been the specs on available PCs. Trying to play Unreal Tournament 3 on lab PCs is a stretch if not a joke. However, something like StarCraft which is a classic and is still played runs just fine. I understand the complications but I do wish they could get some sponsored gaming PCs out there for some first person shooters. |

While we would love to have a PC Shooter to add to the line-up, we cannot without better computers. The ones available to us have only these specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU @ 2.33Ghz
2 GB SDRAM
ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT
So until we are able to get a PC sponser to provide great machines for us we are kind of limited in the PC Games we could host.

Eric is very correct with what he has said, however I do hope to announce a FPS on the PC within the first week of the new year. By the grace of God our LAB PCs have been upgraded and we are testing which games run best on them!
Stay Tuned! We are doing what we can and will continue to add as many games as will fit into the building!!

Pretty decent lineup. I'm a bit surprised Marvel and CvS are both still in, and Marvel on PS2 at that.
I guess people feel like BB is the new GG, but it's really not. Only like two people in the NC GG scene still play BB lol.

Well we have always had a pretty big fighter community turnout in the previous years and Marvel and SNK are defiantly fan favorites. And sense we have all these PS2s lying around we figure we should use em!!! Personally I wish the new Super Street Fighter 4 and Tatsunoka vs Capcom were out! I can't wait to play em.
