I attended as well played last year. I think to add to the excitement spectators should be allowed. I also think it should be taken back to double elimination with no grenade launchers (noob tubes) allowed. Last year that issue alone caused a huge skeptical to break out. Not sure exactly how the LAN settings will be but hopefully they will be fixed to original classes and not building your custom.

Again Mike, We are on a time frame. We do not have time for double elimination like what is done at Elite zone. Last year double elimination was not done and they still ran 3 hours over the time limit. The spectating rules are made by the organizers of the event and person running that section of the tournament, and it was all in agreeance. The only time spectators would be allowed was for the last match determining first and second place.
It's a good suggestion even though it has been brought up before and you have brought it up before and were told why it wasn't allowed. Each event handles them differently. |
