Madden 25/26 Rules
Game Format
Match Type: 1v1 Head-to-Head
Tournament Style: Single Elimination
Max Players: 26
All Rounds: 4 Quarters, 3 Minutes Each
Finals: 4 Quarters, 5 Minutes Each
Team Selection
Players may choose any available team
No duplicate teams in the same matchup
If both players want the same team:
Flip a coin
Winner picks the team
Loser must choose a different team
Gameplay Settings
Quarter Length:
3 minutes (standard rounds)
5 minutes (finals)
Difficulty: All-Pro or mutually agreed
Fatigue: ON
Injuries: ON
Accelerated Clock: OFF
Weather: Random or mutually agreed
Overtime: Standard Madden OT
Note: use regular OT with a full quarter or agreed sudden death rules.
Fair Play Rules
No exploits, glitches, or cheese plays (e.g., nano blitzes, money plays, etc.)
Onside Kicks: Only allowed when trailing in the 4th quarter
Pausing Rules:
Max 2 pauses per player
Max 30 seconds each pause
Disconnects:
Before halftime: Replay the game
After halftime: Opponent decides whether to replay or advance
Tournament Structure
Elimination Style: Lose and you're out
Max Players: 26
Seeding: Random draw or performance-based
Byes: Add first-round byes if the bracket doesn't evenly fill
Championship Game
Full Game: 4 Quarters, 5 Minutes Each
Overtime: Use available in-game OT rules
