Tournaments will consist of 1 practice round and 2 REAL rounds. Points from round 1 and 2 will be added together to determine the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Winners.
Tournaments are hosted on private servers that are accessed with a private server key that will be announced by staff. To enter the key first select the correct gamemode and you will find a 'Custom Key' button at the bottom right of the same screen you chose the gamemode on.
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: You have ONE attempt to input the private server code correctly. After this, all other attempts will return an error. This was determined from our testing with 36 computers plus one host.
Make sure your matchmaking region is set to NA-East. To change your matchmaking region to NA-East open the settings, go to game, then to 'Language and Region' and set matchmaking region to NA-East. DO NOT set it to Auto always set to NA-East.
Points are calculated based on placement and elimination counts.
Placement Points:
1st = 7 points
2nd = 5 points
3rd = 4 points
4th-6th = 2 points
7th-10th = 1 point
11th+ = 0 points
Each Kill = 1 point (Team kills will be added for Duos No Builds)
DO NOT EXIT THE GAME WHEN YOU ARE ELIMINATED! Raise your hand so we can get your place and kill count.
