Seeing if there were any loners from last years torny that placed 1st or 2nd or who has some considerable skill in the game. Me and possibly one of my teammates from last year will be making a team. We placed 3rd and walked away with a pretty sick gaming mouse. Would like to place higher this year. Just let me know as soon as you can. Will build the team next week on the 31st.

Apparently whoever is running the tournament decided to make it 2v2?... I hope they realize the game is balanced around 3v3 and change it... |

Wtf? It was 3v3 last year. No reason to make it 2v2, the game is definitely not meant to be played in that format. Please fix D: |

At this point... I don't care about the format. The game is balanced around 3s but 2s will bring a bigger crowd and if prize pool is an issue than 2s should be ran. 3s will bring less teams and maybe a less comptetive environment. 2s will make for a more interesting bracket. 3s would be more balanced since the game is based around it. But please decide soon so teams can form. |

I talked to Famine on BLC forums, I think he thought it was gonna be 3v3 but must have not heard the rules..
Are the rules for this game gonna be posted anytime soon just curious? |

Hey guys,
I originally set the tournament up for 2v2 simply because it's hard to get teams formed for the tournament with 3v3's. However, I heard someone changed it to 3v3 because of the concern on balance, but I have yet to see the registration reflect that change. I will follow up on this, but regardless of what happens, it will be a fun event for everyone coming out as it was last year.
Other than that, I have some bad news about my attendance. I was planning on coming and running the tournament, but I had my first born 2 weeks ago. Although I just had a baby, my parental time is up next Monday and I was still planning to attend this event. Unfortunately, we discovered a serious condition (that's highly fixable with surgery today) in my newborn that will prevent me from attending at the last minute. Thus, I will have to send over some of my co-workers to help out with the events this year (don't worry, I'm prepping them well).
The rules for the tournament should still be in the rule section of the forums. They haven't really changed since last year that much.

Nice, hope the surgery goes/went well. Congratulations.
Hate that you can't make it out this year but I understand. Hopefully the guys you send in your place will be good replacements haha.
