Standard Tournament Rules
Life Settings: Default
DOUBLE ELIMINATION: IF YOU LOSE A SET OF MATCHES YOU GET MOVED DOWN TO THE LOSER BRACKET FOR A SECONDS CHANCE
ROUNDS PER MATCH: BEST OF 5 (FIRST TO 3 ROUNDS WINS MATCH)
MATCHES PER SET: BEST 2 OUT OF 3 MATCHES (FIRST TO 2 MATCHES WINS THE SET)
Finals will be 3 out of 5, opponent from loser's bracket must beat the winner's bracket opponent in a set to reset and then win an additional set. Winner just needs to win one set.
CHARACTER SELECT: No bans. Winner keeps character, loser is free to change character.
STAGE/MAP SELECT: Whatever you agree on
DANGERZONES: MUST ALWAYS BE ON(unless agreed to be turned off with opponent)
CAMERA SETTING: CLASSIC/PRO(unless you and opponent agree on different setting)
EFFECTS SETTING: TURNED OFF/PRO(unlesss you and opponent agree on different setting)

I don't think there has been a DOA tournament here since 2007, so I hope this tournament will revive the fanbase and bring in some competition. I am excited! |

Yeah I hope so too. Usually folks sign up for the tournaments on the day of the event, so hopefully it will fill up for this and VF. |
