We should definitely have this next year. I know at least 20 people that went or planned on going that wanted there to be a Vanguard tournament. And from here on, it's only going to get bigger. There are even people that I know who could and would judge. B

Yeah! I'm probably one of the 20 people that would play in a Vanguard tournament. It was nice to see that the Hobby Shop sold some packs and boxes but it would've been better if there was a tournament to go along during the Summit. |

I really need to make a poster saying " We want you to volunteer at CGS " Guys im sorry we didnt have Vanguard this year but if a few of you are willing to step up and run the tournament and help acquire a sponsor im sure we could have it next year.
Just remember this whole event is ran by volunteers to raise funds for our Local PBL chapter. Yes it is much more than that now. We are constantly growing every year. But we cant keep growing without more people stepping up to help improve it. |

Sorry, I was completely unaware of this.
IIRC Beyblade was a first this year, and it already had an established community in NC complete with judges and all.
Cardfight Vanguard!! already has the potential of being as big of an event at CGS as YGO or MTG. There are multiple shops that host tournaments weekly (Tier Zer0, Blue Ox Games, Game Theory, just to name a few around NC) and experienced players that could help run it. Even this year there was a TCG vendor selling CFV boxes and sleeves.
I would definitely be willing to volunteer some of my time next year to help run a CFV event. B

I also think Vanguard should be brought in. Several of the Beyblade participants also play Vanguard. |

Hello, I have been asked several times about this game while working the Summit this year. So I would like to say that I will bring it under advisement. If it gets approved I will let you guys know.
Thank You |

Hi Johnny,
Thank you very much for your support of Vanguard, as well as your report of the Carolina Games Summit. However it is a little too early for us to be able to plan effectively for next year’s Summit, as we are still currently in the midst of finalizing details for many conventions and tournaments this year. We are open-minded to supporting a tournament for next year, so would it be possible for you to contact us again in August/September and we can see about making some arrangements to provide tournament support then?
Thanks,
Dietrich Seto
